We LOVE Bogus, and when I say we LOVE it, I mean seriously, we do.
Only a 30 minute drive from the heart of Boise, this little gem is a year round recreational amenity that has a little something for everyone:

And here is the really cool thing, Bogus Basin Recreational Association, Inc. is a 501 c(3) charitable organization, created by the Boise community in 1942. Bogus has been continuously operating and providing the community with amazing outdoor activities for over 75 years.
Bogus has been blessed with all time record Winter conditions over the past couple of years coupled with the increase in population that the Treasure Valley has seen, many of the “wish list” items we have all been hoping for are coming to fruition including the addition of snow making equipment and the replacement of the Morningstar lift (really really old slow 3 chair) with a brand new high speed 4 chair that will speed the trip up from 11 to 3 minutes!!!!
As Summer has turned into Fall with a nip in the air, my family has started the countdown until opening day of the Winter season (with the addition of the new snow making system it should around Thanksgiving) and it can’t come soon enough for us!!!!
